JUST initiates D-Nothi with the aim to go paperless
Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) has entered the era of digital documents (D-Documents) in official document management and record keeping with the aim of establishing a paperless office. The JUST Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain inaugurated the D-document (D-Nothi) program at the Administrative Building of the university on Monday afternoon.
The JUST Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain said that many universities including JUST have already entered the D-document under the leadership of UGC. Jashore University of Science and Technology officially entered today. A while ago I sent a file via D-Documents. Since JUST is a technical university, technically we are going to go full paperless office soon. The university has already started the online admission process. The exam results are going to be published online. When D-Document is enabled, it is easy to find out where the files are. There will be no irregularities with the file. Accountability and transparency will be further ensured through D-documentation. This will reduce the university's time and cost, as well as save paper. Database of students is being created and this process will be automated. The university's target is to be fully digitized by 2025.
The Registrar of the university Engineer Md. Ahsan Habib, Convener of the relevant committee and chairman of the computer science and engineering department Dr. Syed Md. Ghalib, chairman of the marketing department Dr. Md. Mehdi Hasan, Deputy Registrar Mohammad Emdadul Haque, Assistant Registrar Nityananda Pal, Senior Administrative Officer Md.
